The sweet pea 'Painted Lady' is one of the oldest, most lovely and most fragrant. Quite a small flower on short stems. Possibly the one that Linnaeus once cultivated. Found in cultivation in 1731.
'Painted Lady' has an airy aroma with the body of neroli with fruity notes of blackcurrant, apple and a little spice.
